Affiliate membership may be granted to those persons who are Human Resource practitioners in industry, consultancy, government, teaching, or research who do not meet the qualifications as set out in the By-Laws of the Association. Affiliate members shall be entitled to the rights and privileges of the Association.
Professional membership shall comprise Human Resource professionals or practitioners in industry, consultancy, government, teaching, be a graduate of a university or other institution recognized by the Association in a field of study identified in the Charter, who has had not less that (2) years approved experience in Human Resource Management, and is engaged in HRM functions at an associate or advanced level or a combination of both or be a person who possesses five (5) or more years relevant experience as approved by the Committee and is engaged in Human Resource Management functions at the time of application for membership. Professional members shall have full access to the Association’s resources and shall be entitled to preferential rates for any of the Association’s events or other services.
Student membership may be granted to persons who are enrolled in the study of Human Resource Management at an institution of learning, approved by the Committee of Management. Members at this level may not be allowed full access to the Association’s resources but would be entitled to preferential rates of the Association’s events or other services.
